Black Jack is played with six decks of cards, 312 cards in total.
The cards value are following: the Ace is counting as "1" or "11", picture cards (J, Q, K) count as "10" and all other cards as indicated by their Face Value.
The purpose of this game is to have a higher total than the dealer, bet never to exceed "21". Whenever the total of your cards exceed "21" you lose (bust) without regard to any further cards draw, including the dealerīs cards.
The best possible hand is Black Jack, your first two cards must be an "Ace" and any "10" value card.
Black Jack is paid at 3:2. All other winning bets are paid even money (1:1), apart from winning Insurance bets, which are paid 2:1. If your total is the same as the dealerīs, this is a stand off - in other words - you neither win or lose.
THE GAMEAfter all players have placed their bets the dealer will now deal out the cards from your right. 1st, one card to all players including one card to the dealer. Then, 2nd card is dealt to all players, but not to the dealer. All cards are dealt face up.
The dealer asks all players in turn (again, from your right) whether they want another card or not. Every player must show clearly (either verbally or manually) whether they do or do not want another card until the player is satisfied with their card total.
As sonn as all playerīs have made their dicision, the dealer will now finish dealing the rest of their cards, until a total of 17 or more is reached. If the total of the dealerīs cards exceeds "21", all players remaining in the game win. All players which have a lesser total than the dealer lose.
If you receive Black Jack with your 1st two cards and the dealerīs 1st card is not an "Ace" or "10" value card, you Win and your bet will be paid at 3:2 immediately.
DOUBLING YOUR BET
You may Double (which is called to "Double Down") your original bet after you have received you 1st two cards. You may Double any hand except Black Jack.
The Double bet is always the same amount as the original bet.
If you choose to Double, you will receive only one more card.
SPLITING YOUR CARDS
If your 1st two cards are of the same Value or are Pairs, you may Split them into two separate hands. However, you must place the same amount as your original bets.
You may Split Pairs up to the three times, which will result in four separates hands.
The only exception is with Aceīs, they can be Split just once and you receive only one more card. If the total of this Split hand is 21, ("Ace" and "10" value card), it is not Black Jack and if it is a winning hand it will be paid even money (1:1). In this case a dealerīs Black Jack would win.
Doubling on Split hands is possible, again you must place the same amount as your original bet and you will receive only one more card.
INSURANCE
If the dealerīs 1st card is an "Ace", you may insure your bet against a dealerīs possible Black Jack. If you wish to do so, you can place up half of your original bet.
The Insurance bet should be placed in the INSURANCE field. This bet should be placed on the left hand side (from your point of view) of the bet you wish to insured.
If the dealer does make Black Jack, all losing bets are collected and then the Insurance bet is paid 2:1. If the dealer does make Black Jack, all losing bets are collected and then the Insurance bet is paid 2:1. If the dealer does not make Black Jack (the dealerīs 2nd card is not a "10" value card) all Insurance bets lose and the game continues as normal.
Please note, if the dealer makes Black Jack, you lose only your ORIGINAL BET - which simply means, that if you split or double, only your 1st original bet will lose.
EVEN MONEY
If you receive Black Jack with your 1st two cards and the dealerīs first card is an "Ace", you can ask for EVEN MONEY. If you decide to do so, you will only be paid 1:1.
SURRENDER
After receiving your 1st two cards, you may ask to Surrender, to finish the game before any more cards are draw. The dealer collects half of the amount betted from the players asking to Surrender and picks up their cards.
Please note, you may not Surrender when,
a) Any more cards are draw, which means before the 3rd card is drawn to any playerīs box or the dealerīs 2ndcard is drawn.
b) The dealerīs 1stcard is an "Ace".
